Just checking in on you. I hope you're doing ok right now.
I'm thinking about you a lot.
I know this is my first time through this, but I was diagnosed Sept. and it's not over yet, so I still feel emotional at weird times, too.
On my way to the grocery store, I break down and then think "great I already look like a cancer patient, no hair, eyebrows or lashed, now I look, well a lot worse.
We are all here for you.
I love Dorene's beautiful butterflies. Spring is here, a renewal of seasons and spirits.
hang in there is so cliche, but that is what we all must do.
I read a lot. Especially here, and suggested sites. I have a blog, too. That has helped me with the emotional part. You can write whatever you want and people are out there giving you such kind words of support, ALMOST like here, but nothing can compare to Gina's nosurrender.

Stacy, in the midst of your recovery from surgery you are super sweet to ask how I am doing.

The site that Gina sent me to today has really helped to ease my mind and answer a ton of the questions I had about a mastectomy.  I truly think she is a genius and knows exactly what we all need!  So, I am in a better place than I was yesterday.  Certainly still very anxious and wondering what the appt. with my surgeon will bring, but I now feel so much more informed than I was.

It has also helped to carry on discussions with the rest of you.....I don't know if you all really know how much.  Or maybe you do.  It is kind of like being hugged through the computer.

One is as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is as if everything is."

we all know about how great the hugs feel.
I have never known such supportive woman, or people and I thought I did before. Now I know, we all share this terrible affliction, but because of that are the only ones who TRULY KNOW what it entails to cope and get through, and if ever we need reminded how to cope we are reminded or simply hugged, we get the best ones here. Not to mention very important information. I have never had a question go unanswered.
God Bless Gina for bringing this family together
