Well, my plastic surgeon was very supportive of my decision to do the implant surgery. He said it takes about 45 minutes so pretty quick. I will go in at 8am on Monday, they do some pre-op stuff at 9:45am, and then I will have surgery at about noon. The mastectomy will take 1.5-2 hours and then he will come in for his part. I will spend Monday night in the hospital and be home sometime on Tuesday. I will definitely give people an update as soon as I am feeling up to it. Or, I will have Keith or my mom post something out to everyone. Thanks to all for the support and prayers! Keep it coming!

Hi Sam,

We haven't met yet ... but I check in over here every day to see how you're doing.  Glad to see you've got a plan and folks are lined up to keep a close watch on you.

Wishing you and your family a happy Thanksgiving.

love,
Bren

I am thinking of you and praying your surgery will be a smooth one. Please try to convince your doctors to let you stay another night in the hospital. Having a mast. is a big  deal. You will have drains and pain to deal with.

Sam,

We're all here for you.  All you have to do is yell.  I'll do whatever it takes to help you out.  Once the surgery is over you get to focus on that finish line.  The tunnel may be dark at times, but you do come out of it.

Hugs
Liz
