Thanks Gina,
You have been my rock and best friend through all of this. I'm done with chemo and now the scary part (SURGERY) and not knowing about recon.
It hasn't hit me yet. I am done with chemo. It was weird today. I didn't know how to tell my Onc. and Nurse goodbye. I know I will see them regularly, but not weekly. It's a very weird emotional thing. I feel like I'm dreaming.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE HERE FOR BEING THERE FOR ME AND EACH OTHER!!!!!!!!

This is one of my favorite oldies. Thanks for that!!!

Stacy - I didn't have chemo but had that same weird emotional thing when I finished radiation treatments - it was so strange - I was practically in tears as I walked out of that last treatment appointment.   My rad onc had warned me that some women feel like they are now on their own when treatment completes -  no longer in active treatment and scared/anxious about that ...

what's the date for your surgery (or is it scheduled yet ?).
Hugs and Congrats on completing chemo!!!
Doreen

Bless you and your family Stacey - There are so many stages and changes with this challenge to our lives.  You are finished with the thing most people dread and never have to deal with!  But you did have to deal with it,  - and you are still Stacey and you are through it and done!  I rejoice with you, and know how it must feel weird, too.  Give yourself time to heal from the cure - Love, Mary

This is Big, Stacey, BIG!!! You did it!! (with style, grace and wit, I might add.) Congratulations!!! IMHO, the hardest part is now behind you, and we'll be with you for the next part of the journey, too. But for now, kick up your heels, girl, you are DONE!!!
Love to you and your family.

Carrie - It's sinking in a little bit more today, but I'm anxious about surgery. I'll feel more victorious when I get the MRI results. thank you.

Coco - Thank you I can't wait to feel like my old self again. When my blood cells are normal. I am going to kick up my heel today, it's rainy and I don't feel like doing anything but relaxing.

Mary - I am still me, a lot stronger and wiser to the world. A better person all around. Going through this life changing experience has made me look at things differently. As I'm sure you all know.

Natalie - Thank you, I felt like crying but was more numb than anything. I thought I would be overwhelmed with joy. I think I need a little time and the results of my MRI.

Doreen - I meet with my BS after the MRI, in two weeks, we'll schedule the surgery then. That's how I feel, on my own without the chemo kicking cancer's butt now, will it start going crazy before surgery? I don't have my ammo. I'm sure it will pass.

THANK YOU TO ALL OF MY SISTERS
YOU ARE ALL ANGELS.

I really feel good about being done with chemo. I think it took meeting with BS and getting his opinion and scheduling surgery.

I want to get this out of me and chemo was doing that. So, when that stopped it was like I was in limbo with not having the next step lined up.

Now that I do (surgery) I am that much closer to NED. I feel tons better.
