had a follow up mammo on April 13 that revealed a new cyst (unsure of size and exact location) in my left breast; BC was in my right.  I am a bit paranoid about it and have schdulued to have it aspirated in the next couple of weeks; do not want to take any chances with it being/becoming something else.  Am I over reacting? Could this cause more harm than good?

Thanks,

Cindy

Dear Cindy,
I am sorry I didn't answer sooner, but I was away. It is normal to be nervous about this. But it is also normal to have a perfectly fine, benign cyst. You are doing the right thing by getting it checked out. The face that it shows up as a cyst on mammo is a good sign. The chances are in your favor for it to be OK, better to be 100% sure and put it all behind you!
Love
