Rosebush heavy with flowers

Roses and Old Glory

with birdbath & houses

Close up of my favorite rose this year - the scent is amazing

The beach along the road to the left of my house, it is part of Oyster Bay

The estuary leading to bay, where the egrets and ospreys hang out

The beach on the other side of my house, this is Long Island Sound looking toward Connecticut. Takes about 20 minutes to get there by motorboat if you really open it up

Looking the other way

it is lovely and clean and it has small rocks, it is not like our Ocean beaches which have more fine sand than rocks.

Gina - your flowers are beautiful. And wonderful pictures of long island sound.  When we were in the 5 towns last year, my girlfriend took me to the boardwalk. so pretty.  Hugs to you.  Karen

Thanks everyone!
Susan, to give you your bearings...
If you took Merrick Road all the way North you would end up on the beach photographed. Locust Valley, Lattingtown, Mill Neck have access to Long Island Sound  Mill Neck creek that  opens up to Oyster bay.
The estuary, where the Egrets are, taken from where I am standing, is pointing to  Mill Neck.

Love the pictures, Gina.
The area brings back fond memories of Southern New Jersey's wild and secret seascapes, always unique, and hopefully, still wild and free.  I think you live in a glorious place, and wow...you really do have a "green thumb"!  Glorious roses, and a beautiful garden.

Thanks for sharing...your little one's are great portraits!

I love art!

love,
Indi
