Good Morning Susan:  My guess is it may be the Celebrex.  Have seen alot of people having allergic reactions to it.  One of the less serious side effects of Celebrex is skin feeling itchy.  You might just be having the beginning of an allergic reaction - so next time you see your doctor I would mention it for sure.

Something interesting about Celebrex is that people who are allergic to Sulfa are adviced to not take it.  I myself am allergic to all NSAIDS.  I break out in a rash and my lips swell.

Ultram is another good medicine.  You may want to consider it.

Just a reminder to everyone else.  Fall is a time for scabies.  So watch out for any tiny pin point rashes that seem to track upwards.

Susan:  It could just be good old fashioned dry skin too!  Sometimes the simplest solutions are the hardest to see.

Carrie:  Scabies are a mite that burrow until the skin.  They leave tracks as they spread that look like little red bumps.  It is highly contagious and transfer from one person to another.  Usually children bring it home from school.  They lay eggs - so if you have scabies, you have to get the doctor to order elimite cream. It has to be applied twice.  All bed linen and clothing that comes in contact with the scabies has to be washed in hot water.

Not uncommon in school children and the older adults.  There was an epidemic of it here in the Chicagoland area this past Spring.  You always worry about it in Spring and Fall.

Here is a good link that will explains it pretty good.

I agree with Niki, dry skin is often a problem with itchy feet. Curel make a wonderful foot lotion that is nice and think. Ones that have pepermint in them are good for the feet too. something about helping the circulation.
maybe try a good lotion.
I hate the fact that with the weather cooling it means wearing shoes and confining my feet. That's to Suz I've got a great loation that helps now.

I am slathering lotion all over my hands and feet.  I have scratched sores on my feet and I'm using cortisone cream to relive the itching so i won't scratch. it was pretty gross.  I know TMI.

Susan my friend.  Scabs from itching?  Put the cream on and then put socks on.  Either that or where a pair of mittens.
