I see some people recommend extra iodine....where do you get this?

Kelp has iodine and I would imagine other sea vegetables.  I use "Organic Kelp Granules" from Sea Seasonings.  I buy it at Whole Foods.  I sprinkle it in soup and on vegies.  I imagine you could put it on a lot more foods too.   It is somewhat flavorless. 1/2 tsp is 100% of your iodine.

Just received the Oct. 2009 edition of life extension magazine and ChrissieD is right, the magazine article entitled " Iodine's Role In Breast Cancer Prevention" recommended Kelp supplements, and also mentioned using Iodized salt.  However, they said that using Iodized salt is not a good choice for people with heart disease or high blood pressure.
