I thought and thought about what forum we could dedicate in memory of our Deb, and I know she would have loved her own book club.
So here is a place to talk about what you are reading and enjoying now.

This is not a place to just talk about books on cancer- NO! The books you love that take you away!

I will start the first thread- let's not list the books on this one.

Enjoy!!

Hello!

I love reading of all kinds...my degree was reading. For so long,I could not read after the cancer diagnosis and worry,I could not concentrate. So,now,I read mysteries as I have a very favorite NC author:Margaret Maron and Southern women's authors,in particular.

Margaret's main character (Deborah Knott) is very similar to Kay Scarpetta in Patricia Cornwell's books. However, these are local to NC and in particular the Raleigh area where Margaret Maron lives. These are not as graphic as Kay's discoveries and yet,I love the legal background...Deborah Knott is a top-notch DA/sleuth...

So,that is what I have been reading lately as I have like six or more of her books to read. Plus, several Dorothea Benton Frank...have seen both of these authors in person at local book signings.
