May I butt in.  Thank you.

I like to find recipes that I can make ahead of time so the "day of" isn't so difficult.  Two of my dds are coming for Thanksgiving along with one husband and two grandchildren (my FAVORITE grandchildren..my only grandchildren ).  One daughter is in a serious relationship, but her boyfriend can't make it..he has his two kids over the holidays.  And, my third dd and her dh are up in Denver.  Okay, enough of my family history.

I have not made this recipe, but I've eaten it and it so yummy.  You can make it the day before and it can be used for appetizers or whatever.

That's the picture.  Can't you just take a bit out of it?

Cool Veggie Pizza Appetizer

Prep Time:
20 min
Total Time:
2 hr 33 min
Makes:
32 servings

Ingredients:

2 cans (8 oz. each) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 pkg.  (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
1 tsp.  dill weed
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1 cup  broccoli florets
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup  chopped seeded tomato
1/2 cup sliced pitted ripe olives (optional)
1/4 cup  chopped onion

PREHEAT oven to 375°F. Separate dough into 4 rectangles. Press onto bottom and up side of 15x10x1-inch baking pan to form crust.

BAKE 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown; cool.

MIX cream cheese, dressing, dill and onion salt until well blended. Spread over crust; top with remaining ingredients. Refrigerate. Cut into squares.

Kraft Kitchens Tips

Substitute
Substitute chopped cucumbers, shredded carrot and/or red bell peppers for any of the chopped vegetables.

Also, you can used Ranch Dressing instead of Miracle Whip..or mix about a half of a package of Ranch Dressing Mix or to your taste.  I would think if you added a dry ingredient (package of Ranch Dressing) you would have to add a small amout of liquid.

Why did my recipe have all thos black lines/boxes around it?  Hmmmmmm?

I finally figured out how to post a pic.  When I clicked on the "mountain thing" a sound would come up like I get when a pop-up is disabled while on the web.  So, this morning a light bulb  in this ole Polish head came on....TRY DISBALING THE POP-UP SETTING!    Now I've got to go back and set my pop-up setting so those darned pop-ups don't annoy me.

We fixed this for Thanksgiving.  It was yummy.  However, my dd did use the Ranch Dressing mix.  It was a bit salty.  I'm thinking less would have been better...perhaps add a little dill.  Of course you can use a variety of veggies.
