I want to share with you all a wonderful organization where I got my first wig and free! http://CrickettsAnswerForCancer.com

Crickett lost her battle with breast cancer within just a few short months, but if you go to the web link above and scroll down a bit, you can see a picture of her and you'll know right away how very special her hair was to her!  In her honor her family has started this non profit to offer free wigs and mastectomy products to breast cancer patients.  I ordered one through them via Wigs.com and I loved it! Contact Carole on the web site who will be happy to work with you in finding the best wig for you. She will mail you a simple form to fill out to get the process started. What a wonderful place to feel cared for and by the way, my favorite wigs are ones I got through HSN.com  (search Toni Brattin wigs). They are reasonable and oh so comfy and natural looking!

Koryn, this is very timely as I have a friend about to start chemo and she is stressing about the hair loss.  I did not wear wigs so I am at a loss to help her!  Thank you for this, it will help her a lot!
*Hugs*

Koryn, this is a great resource. I am going to add it to our resource list on the main web page which is currently being redone.
Thanks!

Koryn, thanks!  I am at work and can't check my Yahoo email...I will check it tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest...kids have an ice-cream social at school tonight to celebrate the new school year, so it will be a busy evening for me!
