I have suffered from LE since my first breast cancer diagnosis. I have been to massage therapists, wrapping and a fingertip to armpit compression sleeve.

By far, hands (and arm) down, swimming has done the most good. You can do it no matter what condition you are in- bad back? no problem. Recon? helps break up scar tissue. Overweight? Helps you slim down.

But the greatest benefit??? The water serves as the best method of gentle compression and actually helps the trapped lymphatic fluid travel away from the affected limb.

Swimming isn't only a summer activity. Join your local Y. Give it a month. You will SEE and FEEL the difference!
